I love these Mark Nason for Skechers shoes! I need to invest in more pairs. They are such comfortable shoes, it's ridiculous. This neutral pair definitely helps to tone down these mustard yellow jeans.
Today, I'm styling another pair of sneakers from Dr. Scholl's Shoes. The past couple of days I had to "dress up" a bit so a more casual look was long overdue. I already knew I wanted to pull these out of its box so I wanted to work around them. Thankfully, a nude pair of shoes works with just about everything so the first thing I pulled out were these salmon colored chinos. Everything else kinda just fell into place shortly after.
As far as the shoes, this particular pair is just as awesome as the other one. Dr. Scholl's is known for comfort so their shoes are no exception. The insoles actually have texture for added comforted; other shoes typical have a plain flat insole. Shop their shoe collection today!
So I'm a little bit disappointed with how the images came out, but I'll eventually get over it.
I finally got to wear these shoes from the Mark Nason for Skechers collection! So comfortable! I didn't even have to break them in which makes me love them even more. I have two pairs from the collection, this and a neutral (nude) pair. They are totally a statement piece! The photos do not do them any justice. They're more of a neon green/yellow in person. These are so affordable, but more importantly they're comfortable so I would definitely recommend these shoes to other people!
The Spring is all about color so to bring a look all together, everyone needs a right pair of neutral shoes. This particular pair is perfect to neutralize an outfit. As intimidating as a green color palette seems to be, it's not so bad with the help of these sneakers. It definitely tones down this monochromatic outfit and not to mention how comfortable they are! As soon as you break into them, you are good to go!
I went to have dinner with my cousins this evening. We had Korean food, which I haven't had in a while. So good!
Anyway, I purchased these chinos from Old Navy over a year ago. Yes, Old Navy! I own two pairs of chinos from them! I absolutely love the color of these pants. They're actually a lot more vibrant in person, but natural lighting + editing just changed its shade a tad bit. I wanted a more casual look, but still something put together so I put on a sweater and my favorite pair of converse chucks! I threw on some accessories and I was ready to go enjoy our feast. lol
I purchased this vest from the Margiela for H&M Collection that came out a while back, but I never got a chance to wear it until today! Yay! I paired it with my Burberry necktie and a blue shirt also from H&M. The entire outfit was just screaming for white pants so I had to pull them out the closet. Overall, I like how crisp and clean this look is. It actually makes me want to wear vests more often. Mhmm... we shall see. ;)
The other day I worked on this DIY project. I've been interested in the black and white trend this season so I took my basic black cap and give it some character. I added studs from a belt I found at a thrift store to give it some edge.
Anyways, I'm still trying to venture off into this particular style. I personally have a ton of color in my wardrobe so now I'm trying to incorporate more basics into my closet to fulfill my obsession for this "minimalist" trend. Hope you like my urban approach on this particular look.
I was initially going to do a more preppy look, but today's agenda called for a more casual outfit. Next time, I promise! I like how these sneakers pop with the contrast of my black jeans. The black and white trend with a pop of color is big this season so I thought I'd take a more urban approach on the trend. I hope you guys like it!
Ps: I wore these sneakers around the mall! So comfortable! I didn't even have to break them in. Yesssss!
Today, I'm styling a pair of sneakers from Vans' new Colors collection (Classic Silhouette) which hit stores this spring! Can we all take a moment of silence to appreciate how pigmented these sneakers are? Bright green, I love you! haha To be exact, they are in the color Green Flash/Black.
These sneakers are so versatile so I wanted to style them a few different ways. In case you didn't know, my style changes from day to day so it's important my shoes are able to adapt from one look to another.
Within the next few days you'll see me transform these sneakers from one "style" to another.
For my first style post, I wanted to keep it really urban. Very reminiscent of the 90s and what not! I hope everyone has an awesome day!
