Camo and Arm Candy

My outfit from the other day. I wear this bright green shirt for work every single day so I told myself I might as well put a little effort into dressing it up. I just love this camo shirt/jacket from Old Navy. I don't know why, but I love everything about it.

Late post #2

Well here's another late post... I'm sorry, it's the holidays! lol

I found this sweater while thrifting at Goodwill! Such an awesome find! I just think it's a perfect piece to add to my wardrobe!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Late post #1

Please forgive me for posting this outfit so late, but MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)

This was an outfit post from 5 days ago, but never late than never right? Right!

I got to wear my peacoat from Old Navy! I bought it last winter. I must say, I absolutely love shopping at Old Navy. Their deals are too good to pass up!

Today's getup! WE HAD RAIN IN VEGAS! lol I'm so used to the rain since I grew up on the island of Saipan, but rain plus the freezing cold still takes getting used to. I got the chance to use my hooded faux leather jacket from Ross. I like how sleek it is. On camera, it looks really glossy, but it actually has a mat finish and it feels really nice too. I paired it up with boots just to tie in that leather concept.

"Doggy want the kitty."

I LOVE this sweater! I purchased it on and I cannot get enough of it. I wanted a more casual look so I through on my salmon chinos from to complement the cat's nose and shades of blue to complement the cat's eyes. I just think it's such a staple piece in my wardrobe. I know not everyone's going to understand it, but that's okay. Sometimes, your confidence just has to do all the talking. How you carry yourself makes the outfit so remember that. :)

Yesterday's outfit.

I did some shopping with my aunt and uncle. They're in town for the week so it's nice to have them around. I decided to go with some basics today because it just felt right to do so. I pulled out a plain white tee and paired it with this sweater I thrifted from Goodwill not too long ago. I added my maroon wingtips and beanie to add some character to this basic outfit.

Camo X Spikes

Today's little getup.

My Dockers "Alpha Khaki" Slim Straight Leg Chinos came in the mail yesterday. I just HAD to wear them today! I am in love with these pants. It really isn't as dark as it looks in these photos; please excuse the photo editing because it doesn't give the camo print any justice. I love how they look in real life! I paired these camo print pants with my Romwe spiked hat. I just think they fit very well together.

I like how casual this look is. I know my style tends to be all over the place, but I think it's important to be a chameleon when it comes to fashion. :)

Yesterday's outfit.

Before work, a friend and I did a little bit of Christmas shopping! Tis the season, right? haha

I finally pulled this blazer out of my closet; I just adore the color. I think it's very appropriate all year round; in fact, I have an idea for an outfit all set for the Spring using this blazer! I wanted something comfortable and nothing too overstated so I went ahead and wore this outfit.

PS: Las Vegas' weather has been all sorts of crazy. One week it's freezing cold and the next week is relatively warm. Mhmm...

Manic Monday

I had brunch with my family this morning! In a little bit, my sister and I are going to hop on the bus and explore this city (Las Vegas) we call home. I adore these wingtips from Ralph Lauren. They're comfortable and stylish all at the same time. As you can see, I'm wearing mustard yellow again, but this time I'm incorporating it with navy and other shades of blue. I bought this scarf from old navy last winter, but never wore it. I was so excited to finally pull it out of the closet to go with my beanie from Target. Can anyone have too much mustard yellow items in his or her closet? I think NOT! :)

HOUS pt.2

Another collaboration with HOUS all the way in Queens, New York. I had to snatch this shirt when I saw the concept of it. A astronaut DJ-ing on the moon? Yes, please! haha

Again, if you haven't visited their website then I suggest you do. Their tees are perfect for people who love music! They're well executed and quality is on point. Just a reminder, I will encourage you to go a size up if you don't like your shirts too fitted.

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

I'm so excited about this!

I woke up at 5am to get ready and catch the 6am bus. I got off on the wrong stop and had to walk half a mile to my transit station. (Of course that would happen!) I finally jumped into the second bus and made my way to Caesar's Palace. When I finally got to H&M, there was less than 30 people in front of me. They offered donuts and coffee which was a nice treat. To be honest, I was expecting a bigger turn out, but I guess not a lot of people are familiar with this designer? Mhmm, I'm not sure, but at the same time I wasn't complaining either.

They split the line in groups of 30. Each group had a colored wristband and got to shop the entire collection for 15 minutes. I was in the second group and let me just tell you, I had so much anxiety. While waiting for our turn, we got to see the group in front of us shop the collection. I was nervous they would run out of sizes, which they did, but I'll get to that later. After the 15 minutes, they took about 5 minutes to tidy the floor and allowed us to give it a go.

Merchandising was quite nice and items were easy to find. I immediately went to look for the 2 vest I wanted. As you can see from the photos above, I could only find 1 vest in my size. The second vest I wanted had the paint all over the front, but unfortunately the sizes left were either too big or too small. I immediately started hunting down these graphic sweatshirts. I took 2 sizes of each sweatshirt, but ultimately settled for the extra small in both shirts because the smalls seemed to run a bit big on me. Overall, quality was pretty good with the items I chose.

At the end of the day, I was happy with the pulls. They were the most affordable items in the men's collection, but they just so happened to be the items I actually wanted. The other items were either out of my element or nothing special enough for me to fork over more money. I cannot wait to style this vest. It's just going to work great with a few outfits I have in mind. Stay tuned for styling posts!

I cannot wait for their next collaboration. Rumor has it they're peaking over Tom Ford's shoulder. I hope that's true! I will definitely have to buy a suit if that's the case!

Clothingloves Collabo

Was lucky enough to be contacted by They were nice enough to send me this blazer. I am extremely happy with the cut of the blazer. This color is very appropriate for this season. I just know I'll be able to use it throughout the Fall/Winter because if you don't know, I am obsessed with anything in burgundy or oxblood right now!

Be sure to take a look at their website. They ship internationally and their prices are extremely affordable.

DIY Beanie

I found this studded belt at a thrift store for $1. I decided to add some character to this basic black beanie I bought from H&M. Removing the studs from the belt and transferring it onto the beanie was relatively easy.
I like how it turned out. The studs make it a lot more special.

Just a dreamer.

Decided to snap a few photos today. I'm absolutely loving this fall weather; not too cold, but not too warm either. I've always been a fan of fall colors so it's nice to be able to play around with a few different shades. Mustard yellow, burgundy, navy, military green, and shades of brown just seemed to work for me today! I'm currently in a beanie phase. All I ever want to do is wear a beanie and head out the door. Overall, I like how casual this look is.
